For this post, I want to share about my favorite face makeup remover, which is Bioderma, as you can tell from the title above, hehe.
Ok, let’s get started!
This is my second bottle already. I did get my first bottle at the launch event as you all have read on my post HERE. But now that I’ve purchased my own second bottle and used it for months, I can give you my personal insight about it and also the importance of cleaning your face properly.
The description on the packaging.
The content is just like clear water, it’s colorless and fragrance free. But don’t go ahead and drink it ya, hehehe. Maybe you think, meh, how can water like that clean my face?
I gotta confess, the first reason that got me attracted to Bioderma is because Lisa Eldridge uses this to remove her makeup. I thought, well, if Lisa’s using it, then it must be good! Hahaha.. XD
Ok back to the review..
To use this is fairly simple, just pour enough amount to the cotton pad and then rub it against your face, just like you normally do to remove your makeup. I usually use 2 cotton pads for my entire face and neck.
The result? Well, most importantly, my face seems to like it! I think my skin agrees with the formulation of the micellar water, it’s not reacting in a bad way whatsoever. It’s my go-to product if I’m too lazy to remove my makeup at night after a tiring day. I can just use this and then go to sleep. I don’t have to worry if acne is going to pop out in the morning, my skin is fine with it.
However, I don’t use this to remove my eye makeup, especially if I’m wearing heavy eye makeup such as waterproof mascara, cream shadows and thick waterproof eyeliner. If it’s the usual daily eye makeup then it’s fine. But for heavy eye makeup, I prefer to use something else, which I will talk about soon on my future post.
So, other than that, it’s the perfect product for my face. Oh, I also like to use it in the morning after I wake up, but before I wash my face in the shower (does that make sense?). This is the result.
The top one is the fresh cotton pad, the bottom one is the one I just used. I know, it’s dirty right?
After I do this regularly, my skin feels so much better and fresher throughout the day. I know that the price is considered expensive, a whooping Rp 180.000 for 250 ml. They do have the smaller bottle so you can try that one out first. But, it’s so worth the cost, your skin will thank you. :)
Recently I saw that the other products from Bioderma is finally available here in Guardian as well (I want to try their skincare product!) so stay tune for more haul post about it too!
Well then, I guess that’s it for this review. I hope you find this helpful and I’ll see you in my next post! Byeee~
