Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream & Eyeshadow Quad *Review*

Hallo everyone! How’s your holiday? :)

Me, I’m staying in Jakarta, not going anywhere. But the good side is, I can enjoy the empty street here! ^o^

Anyway, let’s jump right in to the review ya. Revlon kindly sent me their newest product from the Photoready range, the BB Cream and eyeshadow quad. Actually there’s also the nail polish, but since the color is in dark red, I don’t think it will match the look I’ll be doing here, hehe.. I’ll make a separate post on that, ok? ^^

First is the Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream!

It has SPF 30 and I got mine in shade 020 Light Medium.

Back of the packaging

SInce the writing is too small there, I’ll give you the description from the website:

A lightweight, multi-benefit Beauty Balm that combines skincare, makeup, and sunscreen into one step.

- HYDRATES like moisturizer
- SMOOTHES like primer
- COVERS like foundation
- BLURS FLAWS like concealer
- PROTECTS with SPF 30 like sunscreen

Dab on cheeks, nose, and forehead, and blend outward. Revlon PhotoReady BB Cream™ may be worn alone on bare skin or over your regular skin care for additional moisture. Three versatile shades will adapt to fit your individual skin tone.

The packaging is in a tube, so I can squeeze it out and control just how much I need.

The swatch.

It has yellow undertones, but when it’s blended to the skin, it won’t be too noticeable.

Ok let’s try it!

I used my finger to blend it to the skin, I found that it’s the best way for me whenever I’m applying BB Cream. The texture is creamy yet lightweight and easy to spread. It’s not too thick and dry quickly once applied, it gives satin finish on me. Not too dewy nor matte. The lasting power is also OK on me, it lasts all day with just one touch up.

However this BB Cream doesn’t give me full coverage, but for daily usage I think it’s enough la. The coverage is medium and I dotted more into some parts where I have blemishes. You can still see some of them here and there, my skin is not perfect, you know.. XD

Ok, time for the eyeshadow!

Priscilla review Revlon Photoready Eyeshadow Bohemian 2

This is the Revlon PhotoReady Primer + Eyeshadow, I got mine in Bohemian. It has a primer in light champagne color, sparkle gold for top coat and 3 Bohemian theme colors in peach, brown and blue-greenish.

Description from the website:

Easily create limitless looks with one palette.
Each palette features a primer, 3 highly pigmented shadows, and a sparkle top coat. Use wet for more color intensity. Add sparkle top coat for a multi-dimensional, intensely shimmering effect.

The swatch.

I like the contrast combo in this palette! All the colors are shimmery (except the brown one) and pigmented. Very little fallout and the gold sparkle one (far right) is really pretty for the inner corner.

How I use this eyeshadow quad:

Love this look! It’s so fresh and spring-themed! :D

After the primer, I used the peach for allover the lids and the darker brown for the crease. Blue turqoise color for the under eyes and then my fave, add the gold sparkle for inner corner. I added the dots to help you understand, hehe.

FOTD after adding false lashes to complete the look:

I must say, the BB cream is really photogenic. I mean, it’s really pretty for pictures. I took this photo sitting next to a window, so this is on direct sunlight and no white cast. My skin looks Photo-Ready! ^_^

Different lighting, my skin still looks good!

Overall, I like these Revlon PhotoReady products. I’m thinking about buying another eyeshadow palette, smokey eyes, maybe? Hohoho.. :D

See you in the next post!
