Today I’d like to share a review of compact powder from Bourjois. Isn’t it cute?
This is my second purchase btw, I used to have one in a different color, Sable Rose, which has more pinkish tone and hit the pan already. But this time I have it in Beige Clair, with yellow undertones.
Back of the packaging says it’s a mattifying compact powder for a sheer even result, with integrated puff and mirror. Soft and blendable texture.
Opened packaging, it has a round mirror that I like to use whenever I need to touch-up.
This puff is interesting, because it’s not thick like the usual one, it’s thin and smooth like velvet. I wonder do they sell a refill puff for this? ^^
It’s a light yellowy beige color, something between NC 20-25 like me can use.
My FOTD using the powder.. Looks smooth, right? I applied it using a big fluffy brush. The coverage is sheer, so it doesn’t cover any spots or blemishes that I have. However it makes my skin feel so soft and it blends right to the skin, minimizing the pores.
About the powder, I really like that it’s a very fine powder. A little bit powdery, but not the kind that fly everywhere. Also it smells lovely, like rose. I think almost all Bourjois products have similar fragrance. Very Parisian. :D
Finish result is matte, with oil control that lasts around 3-4 hours. Now you know my standard mark is 3 hours for oil control, so it has passed the test. I think this one has better staying power than its sister the Mineral Radiance Pressed Powder. I have that one too, but haven’t posted a review.
Well then, that’s it for this review.. I hope you enjoy it and I’ll see you all at the next post! ^^
Au revoir.. :-*
