Valentina by Valentino–Perfume Review

Hi everyone.. Time for perfume review! For today’s post, I have the lovely “Valentina” by Valentino.

Maybe you’re already familiar with Valentino as a really famous fashion brand, so you can imagine how excited I was when I got the invitation to the launch event.. ^^

We were welcomed with this huge bottle of Valentina perfume as the display.

The packaging is so classy and elegant , don’t you think so too? ^^

The bottle is slightly rounded yet sleek, it has three flowers, emblems of Valentino couture, in pale shades of white, ivory, and nude. It is topped by a silver ring and a black pearl.

They represent the notes in Valentina: Calabrian bergamot, white truffle, jasmine, strawberry, orange flower, tuberose, cedar, amber  and vanilla.

Valentina was created by perfumers Alberto Morillas and Olivier Cresp.

It came with a matching body lotion too! The texture is light and easy to absorb.

It smells just like Valentina perfume.. ^^

We also got manicure there, the theme is white roses..

The manicurist made this beautiful 3D nail art

The roses looked similar with the Valentina roses, so artsy!

They gave me a bottle of Valentina to be reviewed,

Valentina 2

and the box came with this elegant purse too!

Perfect for night party ^^

Since it’s the smaller bottle, it only has 1 rose, but I think it’s still cute..

Here’s my opinion about Valentina:

I think it’s a very ‘girly’ fragrance, from the notes you can see the hint, there are bergamot, jasmine, tuberose and vanilla and I must say it’s a lovely fragrance.

When I spray the fragrance, I can smell the fresh opening of bergamot and white truffle. After around 5 minutes, the floral notes of jasmine, tuberose and orange blossom appears. For me, jasmine and rose are always the perfect pair, I really like the heart notes, so romantic. And it’s not your typical floral cause it has strawberry note to add the sweet flavor. Finally, it dries down to intoxicating combination of cedar wood, amber and vanilla. A perfect way to end a beautiful harmony.

We choose our fragrance based on our personality, this I know. So, if you’re a feminine girl and looking for a signature scent, then this might be the one for you.

Wouldn’t you feel the same too? <3
